Quilt Runs
Bears participates in several quilt runs during the year. In Chronological order, they include
The Spring Fling held in early April, this run is put on by 7 local quilt shops here in Orange County. This run, like the Santa Run, is very doable, because the shops are all so close by.
The Southern California Quilters Run Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2008, this is the grand daddy of the shop hops around here. This year we have 39 participating shops, and because its so big, its been broken into 4 sub sections to make the whole thing a bit more doable. Check out the website at http://www.quiltersrun.com . The dates for 2008 are July 10-13, and 17-20. Its well worth checking out. Visit your local shop, plus 1-2 more, complete one section (about 10 shops) or go for the gusto and hit all 39. There's a participation level for everyone.
Santa's Holiday Hop Held in late November/Early December each year, this run, like the Spring Fling, is an easy, do it in a day, sort of quilt run.
